About me:
I was raised in a small town in Minnesota with beautiful lakes and bluffs. My love for the outdoors and nature began early on. I began running from a young age and participated in cross country and track throughout middle school and high school. While attending college at Benedictine in Atchison, Kansas I participated in collegiate track and ran the Steeple Chase. I ran my first trail race seven years ago and have been hooked on the trails ever since. I love the serenity of the mountains and the feeling of accomplishment I get from pushing up peaks.
Today I reside in Denver, Colorado and spend my training days exploring the mountains. I am training for the Leadville 100 which will be my first 100 miler.
As an athlete I believe that consistency to progress is key and that its all the little things you do during the days that add up (nutrition, strength training, slow sloth recovery runs, breath work and mobility). Life is busy, but there is a way to add these things in to the daily routine in an efficient manner.
Why Do I Coach?

Throughout my running career I have had experience with at least a dozen running coaches. I have learned that a good partnership happens when there is open communication on both ends (Athlete to coach and coach to athlete). I believe the process of training should be enjoyable and challenging. There is joy to be found in the journey. I’m here to challenge you mentally and physically, to encourage you, to help you reach your goals, and to provide you with resources that will help you further grow as an athlete and individual. I believe that consistency is key to progress.
